In their most terrifying case yet, paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren are summoned to a secluded monastery in Spain, where a series of unholy rituals have awakened an ancient evil—a demonic force even more powerful than Valak.

The Vatican, desperate for answers, believes this entity is tied to a centuries-old curse that has been spreading like a plague. Priests have vanished, nuns have turned violent, and the walls of the monastery whisper in tongues unknown to man. The church fears that if the evil is not stopped, it could mark the end of spiritual warfare as we know it.

As Lorraine’s visions become more intense, she discovers the demon’s name has been lost to time—a name that holds the key to banishing it forever. But with Ed growing weaker from a mysterious affliction, Lorraine is left to face the darkness alone.

With the help of Sister Irene (The Nun II), the Warrens must perform The Last Rites, an exorcism so dangerous that no priest has ever survived it. But as they come closer to the truth, they realize: this demon doesn’t just want to destroy faith… it wants to destroy them.
